We are a woman-owned, veteran-owned and operated business.

Tara Hurst is a U.S. Army Special Operations veteran who transitioned into the aerospace industry after over 8 years of active duty Civil Affairs experience. She has experience working with the FCC and overcoming barriers to obtain license and experiment approval. She is knowledgeable of U.S. Code, including 47 CFR, and is currently expanding upon that knowledge in law school.

Barry Vanek is an Air Force veteran who is the technical SME for Spectral Solutions. Barry holds M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from both the Air Force Institute of Technology and the University of Southern California. He brings over 25 years of experience in RF systems, antennas, electronics, and phenomenology.

How long does it take to get a new license?

Spectral Solutions, LLC. strives to get Program Experimental Licenses approved within 3 months and Conventional Experimental Licenses approved within 6 months of submittal.

What information is needed to set up the license?

We will schedule a call to walk through the details needed, get any information needed from you, and we'll take care of the rest!

How do I renew an expired license?

Expired licenses are not able to be renewed. They must be filed as new licenses. Contact us 90 days prior to your license's expiration so we can renew it and you can avoid the higher costs associated with filing new licenses.
